Invictus - not just for Rugby fan's

I recently went with a friend to watch Invictus the new offering from veteran director Clint Eastwood. I was looking forward to a great storyline being part Biopic on the life of Nelson Mandela, but it turned out to be much more then that.
I found myself laughing with Joy, cheering with excitement, and crying with awe as I watched a man who went through so much suffering still have the strength to offer compassion and kindness to those who had caused him injustice...
It is a beautiful story brought to life by the amazing Morgan Freeman - playing Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon - playing Francois Pienaar the then South African rugby union captain.
It is definitely a must see and below is the Poem that Mandela read to keep him inspired and strong whilst in prison, and where the name of the movie comes from...

Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
